Kahlil Gibran - The Prophet

After loosing my baby girl so many, many years ago, the writings on Children by Kahlil Gibran was my saving grace to get me through the hard and sad days that followed Tanya's death. Now, so many years later, I took several of his writing and created Incredimail stationery.

A link to some of his work is here.

Kindly leave a comment for me if you enjoy my stationery. Thanks :)

Hello

Well here I am, starting a blog. I am an "old" stay at home mom. After working as an accountant all my life, I moved to the USA in 1999, following my husband whom is an American, (that's yet another story). I huge OOOPS happened to me, I fell pregnant and at the "ripe" age of 43 and had another baby. My son, the only one I had was 21 when little mister Jonathan decided he was going to surprise me!

In the present economic climate, prices rising on just everything from milk to fuel, my dearly beloved told me I have to get my butt out there and go back to work! Hell no, I told myself, I am not about to give up my stay at home status now after almost 9 years. "Are you mad", I asked him? He did not reply. None the less, I realized that I had to do something to contribute towards the household. Why not do what I love, what I've been doing for 7 years? Creating magic with photos. Yes, they really are magical. All pictures are created from scratch. Taking into account what each person loves and incorporating those elements into their pictures. I also do photo restoration and each bad picture is a challenge. I know by the time I'm done with it, it will be beautifully restored to it's full glory and I will even add color to black and white photos for you. Please take a moment to check out a little of my work. You comments would be so much appreciated.

Lindy's Creative Thoughts

I am in the process of creating a slideshow and will have that posted soon!

Thanks to MOMS INC in Howard County, Maryland for giving me the courage to get myself going. I went to my first meeting on Tuesday. The speaker for the day explained all about blogging and what a fantastic inspiration she was for me. Thanks you Carolyn for taking me with you and for the moms of MOMS INC for accepting me with such open arms! Thank you, thank you, oh did I say THANK YOU!
